[macOS] Swift Salamander
Problem: Finder is missing dual panes, a drop stack, batch operations, and any real cloud-storage integration. There’s no single Mac file manager that combines all of those.
Comparison: ForkLift handles cloud well but has no drop stack and limited tabs. Path Finder is feature-rich but feels dated. Commander One is fine but its cloud support is bolted on. Swift Salamander has dual-pane with tabs, a Drop Stack to stage files from anywhere before placing them, batch rename, gallery view, tag-aware filtering, and rclone as a first-class cloud backend (S3, Drive, Dropbox, B2, OneDrive, WebDAV, SMB, SFTP, FTP). The local file-manager side is in solid shape. The cloud side is the alpha part right now and feedback is welcome.
Pricing: Free tier covers everyday use. Pro is 6 CHF/mo, 60 CHF/yr, or 99 CHF one-time (12 months of updates plus the version you have keeps working forever). 14-day Pro trial then falls back to Free.
